We delete this data after 7 days at the latest. Any further storage only takes place after the IP address has been deleted or made anonymous.

b) Newsletter

If you give us your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter.

To enable subscription to our newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure; this means that, after you have subscribed, we send you an email to the email address you have indicated in which we will ask you to confirm that you want us to send you the newsletter. If you do not confirm your subscription within 24 hours, your data will be deleted automatically. In addition, we also store the IP addresses you have used from time to time as well as the time of subscription and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to evidence your subscription and, where required, clarify any potential misuse of your personal data.

Mandatory information for subscription to the newsletter are title, first name, surname, company name and your e-mail address. After your confirmation we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 subs. 1 a) GDPR because you have given your consent.

You may at any time revoke your consent to the transmission of the newsletter and unsubscribe. You can revoke your consent by clicking the link which is contained in every newsletter email or by sending an email to m.hoffmeister@bur.lighting. If you unsubscribe, we will immediately delete your data.

The data will be deleted when the request has been finally completed and no legal retention obligations exist. In addition, you can contradict the processing at any time.

d) Social-Media-Plugins

We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our website, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data referred to in a) of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after registration, according to the respective provider in Germany. By activating the plug-in, personal data is transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (at US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data mainly via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the grayed-out box using your browser's security settings.

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we informed of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-oriented advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you have to contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Through the plug-ins we offer you the possibility to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our service and make it more interesting for you as a user.

The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO, whereby our legitimate interest arises from marketing purposes. If consent is given by clicking on a plug-in, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

The data is transferred regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected with us will be directly assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also stores this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, especially before activating the button, as this avoids being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

For more information about the purpose and extent of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the privacy protection declarations of these providers. They will also provide you with further information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy.

e) Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was directed to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords customer websites. The information collected from the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers will know the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse to set a cookie as required for this - for example by setting your browser to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser to block cookies from the "googleleadservices.com" domain. Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

On this website we use the offer of Microsoft Bing Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function.

By visiting the Website, Microsoft is informed that you have visited the relevant subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in a) of this declaration will be transmitted. This is regardless of whether Microsoft provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Microsoft, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be assigned to your profile at Microsoft, you must log out before activating the button. Microsoft stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation takes place in particular (even for unlogged-in users) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, and you have to contact Microsoft to exercise this right.

Microsoft also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

The legal basis for the use of Microsoft Bing Maps is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO, whereby our legitimate interest arises from the marketing purposes mentioned.
